i feel cheated!
after practising some insane fingering for hours on end for muse's invincible
i finally found out he downtunes the d string one tone so that he gets to play c on an open string. so instead of performing calisthentics by playing the riff across three strings he gets it easy and ends up using mostly one string. with only two notes on the g string.
i don't think anyone will understand this. oh well. nevermind.

plangere, latin: to strike, or to lament.
in the depth of winter i finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.
