my baby!
please meet my 60th anniversary made in america FENDER JAZZ BASS. tortoiseshell pickguard. vintage single-coil pickups. diamond-inset headstock.
oh yeahhhh baby. you should hear this sweet young thing (2006 model) in action. the sounds i can get out of her are amazing.. and she's easy to play thanks to the low action. from sizzling slap and pop to deep warm chest-rattling booms. this babe does it all. she's my muse. :) i havent named her yet though.
poor old dent. he's left in the corner while i play with my new baby. by the way my old black yamaha rbx170's called dent, in tribute to douglas adams, and to the asshole who bumped it around, cracked the finish in 3 places and completely screwed up the tone and volume pots before selling the thing to me (admittedly at a steal-- who finds a bass at sub-100sgd these days?). he's been a faithful friend, but i must say-- even though he tries really hard (i broke at least 5 strings playing him) he can't match up to fender. sorry, dent.

i'm a friend of fender now. yes!
next up- an ampeg amp. and a bloody strap. and lots and lots and lots of practice.
inspired!
