now with 10% more crap
hello my lovely readers! i am back from the thirteenth circle of hell. dante, your rock-crushing and demon-sodomising's got nothin' on the pure fingernail-peeling torture of moore and guyton-- if i see one more picture of a dog with its head cut open attached to some machine, i swear i'm going to fling that stupid book out the window. and i've developed a spine-tingling (c2-l5!) fear of helvetica, thanks to kohdowrhoon's hopeless git and blood notes.
have yet to knuckle down to studying. dota is too much fun. so is shopping, slacking at coffeebean, bassing, and generally having a life. mugging is incompatible with life.
tchk tchk. which brings me to the observation that i actually am quite racist.
z and i are at tcc, deciding whether to have hot or cold lattes, when a couple of indians walk in with their laptops, sit down, and plug in. soon, the normally faux-bourgeois-crap-music ambience is shattered by the rattling of m4a1s and the pop of deagles. suddenly:
blur indian: who are vee? who arre vee?
other indian, in an annoyed voice: vee are terrorist, stupidt!
other indians: pick terrorist! terrorist!
some indian: vee are better at being terrorist anyvay.
am i the only one who finds this uproariously funny?
anyway, the days have been good. waking up at a two-digit hour, browsing the newspapers, making extra-strong tea, having a nice, long poop, assing around on the comp watching house, then heading over to smu or orchard to stare into coffees and talk crap-- that's the life. would be better if i had enough cash to go shopping. of course it would be nice if i didn't start panicking every night around 11ish and then falling asleep with a book on my tummy at 12. boo.
