back! unfortunately not with a vengeance. just a very bad case of diarrhoea. having the runs is not nice at all-- sucks all the joy out of having a good shit. (probably because theres not much effort involved. and you spend much longer on the toilet. i can think of other reasons but shant share them)
warm and happy weekend after a bleak and dreary first week of school. puttering by the pool with lushfm blasting while little kids scream and play. impromptu naps. joyously welcoming my computer back to the warm embrace of its table, fixed and upgraded (40 gigs more of empty space to fill with movies! hoohaha.)
everything looks much nicer in sunshine. and for once we get to go home early on friday! and furthermore 3stan has been blessed with the Ling. who was (disarmingly-) nice during friday practical. can the world get any better?
i am a firm fan of gelatissimo outside lido. notwithstanding the annoying balding owner who chases everyone away from those dinky little seats if youre not conspicuously holding a cup or cone. the icecream's not too bad either =D
broken flowers is an excellent movie. please catch it before its run ends. but football hooligans is crap. its nowhere near as good as trainspotting or any of guy ritchie's films (yes, i think it's even worse than swept away, that horrible show which proved once and for all that madonna cant act.)
did i mention i hate being on a di(arrhoea)et?
