nyumnyum cooookies
blogger ate my lengthy post and i don't feel like retyping the excruciatingly-boring minutae of my weekend. so let's just all settle for a summary, shall we?
fun conversations:
g: whats that on your thumb?
me: oh. its an infected cut. i didnt bother plastering it up during anatomy.
g: did formalin get into it?
me: hope so. i'd be an awesome zombie.
g: BRAAIIINS. (with crossed eyes)
me: yes! medical zombie. add formalin and wait five years.
g: will you target specific brains? clever brains? medical brains?
me: i think my catchphrase would be too long. CLEVERBRAIIIINS. very incompatible with advanced decomposition.

ck: no. i wouldnt date an ugly guy. (thinks) unless he was wearing an armani suit.
me: ahah!
ck: what?
me: okay. tell me: if he was dressed nicely in cheap clothes and ugly, would you still date him?
ck: huh? not worth it la.

fish and co at wheelock was super crowded on saturday. i asked what was the catch of the day 3 times, and all 3 times i got a different answer (soft-shell crab, threadfin, and dory) all of which vary significantly in price/quality; which made our choice of catch of the day a brave yet inevitable one (since firstly i'm allergic to anything thats not actual fish, i.e piscean, and ck the health freak wouldnt eat anything fried) after that we mooched around borders and moaned at books. calvin and hobbes collectors editon for 280 dollars! after much wailing and gnashing of teeth i managed to restrict my book purchases to the confusion. (which i have been wanting to get since god-knows-when i think 3 months before As; i recently gave up on completing my hardcover set and just bought the paperback) don't worry, my little babies! mummy's comng back for you when she has enough money!
